April 19-23 Job Project
This week we will begin the Job Project.
Tuesday: You will need to bring in job listings from the newspaper or printed off the internet. We will analyze them to determine what makes a good job listing as well as what to avoid.
Prep Work: Think about what your company will be.
Wednesday: Begin to create your company (see handout). Importance of dressing up was discussed. Business letter writing introduced.
Prep Work: Decide what your company will do, what it will be named, and what jobs you will need to fill.
Thursday: Begin to fill in the planning sheet for the Job Project. Continue business letter writing.
Prep Work: Charades cards
Friday: Non-verbal communication exercise (aka Charades)
